Okay Gang,
I want some feedback on the Skype conference today. What did you like? How do you think this whole process went? What did you feel about how we developed questions? How do you think the entire process flowed? Is there things we could change that would make this better?
I will be totally honest guys I was a nervous wreck until after this was done today. I was just afraid that the interenet connection would not work or that I would have epic computer failure. However, I think this went very well and I and the other teachers that were present could not be prouder of the questions you developed and the way you all conducted yourselves during this. Please take a little time and post your reflections of this event as a comment to this blog.

I thought it was AWESOME! he was probably the best person you could have talk to us to really get us interested. I mean, seeing someone that has put all of the things we're learning together and made a rather interesting and exciting life out of it kinda makes it more real. It was an amazing experience.

i thought it was great!! he was such an interesting (and quite funny) guy. he has done so much in his life that very few people even dream of doing. this experience was awesome and it would be really cool to do it again. one suggestion i have though, is that we should record it to watch later!
ReplyDeleteI know this is a bit late, but I think that it was one of the most interesting things I have ever done in a history class. He kept us engaged in a conversation instead of going off in a boring lecture, and he made the archaeology we see in textbooks come to life. I would really like to have another skype conversation with other people that you talk about in your class.
